These are the notices about the projects where either the financing has been arranged/sanctioned OR the Government has announced its intention to take up the Project in future. The projects are generally completed in long term and require substantial amount of funds. Stake holders involved are also more in numbers. ‘Project Notices' are more for information purpose to the supplier community at large and are not direct or immediate buying requirements from the purchasers. Few other terms which are used interchangeably in this context are: 'General Procurement Notices (GPN)', 'Project Information', 'Prior Information Notice', 'Procurement Plan' etc.
